By grace, I try to read the whole Bible every year. Sometimes by the end of the year I will still be crawling somewhere, not even near Revelations. When it happens like that, I am not disturbed. I keep on reading .The significant thing is to be a doer of the little I read, and not just a reader.
Sometimes I slow down on the systematic Bible reading, to make room for reflections on messages and teachings, as part of my Devotion. I have by grace got to Psalms in the month of May this year. ‘Unlocking the Psalms,’ authored by Dr.Alfred Koduah , a retired Apostle of the Church of Pentecost in Ghana, has proven to be a very useful aid in studying the Psalms.Commenting on Psalm 117, he ascertains that ‘it is a call on all nations, peoples and all the earth to praise the Lord for his love and faithfulness ‘. The significance of this Psalm, Apostle Koduah explains, is one of the songs after the passover meal.
Let today be a day of praise and thanksgiving for every second, minute and hour in your life.
Great day
